What can I use cacao nibs for?
Cacao nibs are excellent to snack on from the bag, incorporate into baking (we top our brownies with cacao nibs for flavour and crunch), or to add to smoothies and granola. They are high in anti-oxidants, and most importantly, incredibly flavourful - think fruity or acidic versus ‘chocolate like’, depending on the origin.
What are cacao nibs?
Cacao nibs are the the result of winnowing (cracking and separating from the husk) roasted cacao beans. They contain 50% cacao butter (fat) and 50% non-fat cacao solids.
Did you know? Our cacao nib packaging is home compostable! That’s right! Once empty, through the pouch in your compost bin and let nature do its thing.
At Delavoye Chocolate Maker, we are committed to being environmentally responsible.
